The Season of Epiphany --
Happy Epiphany!
Epiphany is the third season of the Christian
year, and the last of the three short seasons that,
together with Advent and Christmastide, make
up "The Season of Light." The liturgical season of
Epiphany is the time set aside to study and con-
template the Person and Work of Jesus, the Son
of God. Each week of this season, we focus our
attention on specific events in the earthly life and
ministry of Jesus, beginning with His baptism and
concluding with His transfiguration.
As we awaited with eager anticipation His first
coming during Advent, and celebrated with great
joy His incarnation as the Word made flesh during
Christmastide, we now worship, with renewed awe
and wonder, His presence on earth as Emmanuel,
God with us.
Resources for the Seaon of Light --

prayers, and more are here to aid in worship

flesh.
